The award-winning Fiddelium group will put on a show in Parksville on Feb. 7.
This Nanaimo-based youth fiddle ensemble plays traditional and contemporary folk music from around the world.
They will be on stage at Knox United Church, starting at 7 p.m.
This year’s concert features tunes from Scotland, Quebec, Sweden, Ireland, Spain, Texas and British Columbia.
Fiddelium won a Canadian Folk Music Award in 2023 for their self-titled debut album, and their second album Lit Up was nominated for the same award in 2024.
They have also won the CBC Music Class Challenge twice (2020 and 2021).
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Knox United Church is located at 345 Pym St.
