PHOTOS: Time for tea in honour of Museum of Cariboo Chilcotin

Williams Lake Seniors' Recreation Centre was the spot for a cuppa on Dec. 8 to help raise funds for the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin

The holiday season is a time for teas in the Cariboo, and each year the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin hosts a special tea to celebrate.

The annual event helps raise funds for the museum, but is hosted at the Williams Lake Seniors' Activity Centre downtown.

This year was no different, with dainty delights for everyone to enjoy, and tea being served by volunteers.

A bake sale provided some temptation as well as helping raise funds, and there was fruit cake, butter tarts and shortbread cookies to sweeten the holiday season.
