Sicamous' successful Canada Day block party ended with a bang following an afternoon full of d'eh of activities.
The holiday started off sweet, with a pancake breakfast to fuel the drop-in hockey that followed throughout the afternoon. In the kids zone, children with faces painted bounced, gamed and lumberjacked at the axe throwing booth while parents cooled off in the adults zone beverage gardens.
Live music provided a perfect backdrop before the big bang at dusk when the showstopping fireworks lit the night for the grand finale to celebrate Canada's 158th year.
