A crowd enjoys the natural amphitheatre surrounding the Gwen Ringwood Stage in Boitanio Park during a 2023 Performances in the Park event.

Music will fill Boitanio Park on Thursday evenings again throughout the summer as Performances in the Park returns July 4 at 6 p.m.

The annual free concert series provides outdoor entertainment on Thursday evenings throughout the summer, with grassy seating in the natural amphitheatre surrounding the Gwen Ringwood Stage.

The Cariboo Chilcotin Youth Fiddle Society will kick things off, followed by Richard Garvey, who will be performing songs from his new album In the Arms of Lovers and Friends. Garvey plays a combination of banjo and guitar tunes.

"Richard brings clever songs and a sly sense of humour to inspire solidarity, hope, and change."

The Cariboo Chilcotin Youth Fiddle Society will once again showcase their group's talent in a follow up to their Fiddle Ticket to Canada show which took place in May. The group plays a diverse range of timeless fiddle tunes from across the ages.

Performances in the Park will liven up the land every Thursday evening throughout the summer at 6 p.m. until August 22.

July 11: Scouts Honour Kids Band and Ramon Chicharron

July 18: Danny Bell and his Disappointments and Saltwater Hank
