New truck, sign and scares at Tulameen Fire Department

An update on the happenings at Tulameen and District Fire Department

The Tulameen and District Fire Department has been a hub of activity lately.

First AIM Roads placed a new fire department sign near the hall on Oct. 19, symbolizing a fire truck.

Then crew members attended a  Similkameen Wildfire Roundtable on Oct. 31 where they worked with community partners of wildfire safety for the valley.

As well the Town of Princeton and Area H also received a new truck, skid unit and trailer in service, according to Jody Chief Woodford.

Then for some spooky season fun, firefighters opened their doors for all the little ghosts and goblins on Halloween night, offering a candy station and hot chocolate.
