GALLERY: Williams Lake Easter Festival enjoyed

It was rainy and cool Easter Sunday afternoon

Despite starting off with some rain, hail and cooler temperatures the Easter Festival in downtown Williams Lake hopped its way into the hearts of locals.

Two blocks of the downtown were cordoned off for vendors and activities, while a DJ sent out upbeat music as the festival got underway.

Jazmyn Lyons and her mom Joan Douillard of The Realm of Toys and The Nerd Room organized the three-hour event and were out checking in on vendors right at noon to make sure they were settling in.

"We had probably over 100 right in the beginning with the hale and snow storm, then it was pretty packed once the rain settled down," Lyons said Monday.
