The date has been set for the Freezin’ for a Reason - Polar Bear Plunge in Williams Lake.

This year’s jump will be on Saturday, Feb. 3 and will be the 24th annual.

The goal for the event is to help everyone fundraise for their non-profit groups but also collectively “help freeze out the stigma on mental health,” notes the group on their website.

Registration forms are available on the Freezin’ for a Reason website.

Last year saw 86 participants take the plunge, with $3,945 raised for 11 different community/non-profit organizations.
