The third annual Okanagan Pet Expo is expected to be bigger and better when it returns to Kelowna on June 1.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Laurel Packinghouse, people and pets are invited to enjoy games, vendors, treats and more.

Event highlights include the Weenie Waggle, Paws and Paint, a meet and greet with Happy Hooves Sanctuary, and the crowd favourite Pug Dash.

“We’re thrilled to bring the community together again for this one-of-a-kind event,” said event producer Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown. “Whether you’re looking to adopt a new furry friend, learn more about animal wellness, or just spend a fun day with your family and pets, this expo has something for everyone, and it all supports several great causes.”

The expo is supporting Paws it Forward, Fletcher's Keep, and Lend a Paw Foundation.

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for youth and seniors, and free for children 12 and under. Friendly pets are welcome, but require a waiver be filled out in advance.
