Campbell River's McDonald's location on 16 Ave. is one of 1,400 chain locations across the country taking part in McHappy Day on May 8.
McHappy Day is a national fundraising event raising money for local charities and Ronald McDonald Houses throughout Canada.
The Campbell River location is raising money for the Campbell River Hospital Foundation and Ronald McDonald House BC, with 10 per cent of proceeds from every menu item going towards the two charities.
