The Montréal band, El Balcón, will be playing at Char's Landing in Port Alberni on July 8.
The Latin group, who formed in 2018, creates a mixture of traditional music along with microtonal melodies.
The 6-member band play music from Mexico, where the lead singer, Valeria Del Marre, is originally from.
"They have evolved to composing original and innovative music that still keeps the acoustic spirit of the traditional music that inspires them," reads a media release statement.
The band will also be playing in Nanaimo on July 10, Victoria on July 12 and ending their western tour in Vancouver on Aug. 2.
Tickets cost $20 at Char's Landing with children under 6 free.
