Owner Amanda Price says her business offers consignment kids clothing, from size newborn to 14/16, as well as consignment maternity clothing, designers labels, as well as department-store brands.

“We are the only kids and maternity consignment store in Williams Lake,” Price says, adding that if the clothes don’t sell, Little Labels Consignment donates them to the 139 Children’s Fundraising Society and a women’s shelter in Williams Lake.

Price, who is seven months pregnant, says she was having the hardest time finding maternity clothing in the city.

“I also have many friends that have kids, and finding kids clothes, like Please Mum, the Gap, and Old Navy was nearly impossible,” she says. “I want to provide Williams Lake with a consignment store that allows economically smart shopping for families and families to be.”

Little Labels Consignment supports a number of local causes, including the 139 Children’s Fundraising Society, the Williams Lake Women’s Contact Society shelter, the Boys and Girls Club, Cariboo Search and Rescue, and the Williams Lake fire centre.

“I love the downtown core businesses, and we all try and network together and provide Williams Lake with stores and services that help us grow as one community,” Price says, adding that she supports and advertises for Nurturing Roots (Kim Van Diest), Shelly Paquette with Bodywork and Beyond Holistic Services, and Tammy Watson with Tammy Watson Photography. “I believe when a community faces a few economically challenging years, it’s all the more important to work together as one and help our town grown.”

Little Labels Consignment is located at 65A South First Ave next to the Hobbit House.
